About
AUBURN AVENUE is a biannual online publication showcasing the intellectual and creative voices of people of color.
Inspired by the cultural significance of the landmark thoroughfare in the Sweet Auburn and Old Fourth Ward neighborhoods of Atlanta, GA, Auburn Avenue is deeply embedded in the spirit, history, and tapestry of African American culture. Noted writers, commentators, imagemakers, journalists, and poets lend their distinguished perspectives to the publication by contributing thought-provoking interviews, essays, photography, poetry and short stories. All content is carefully curated by the Auburn Avenue editorial staff.
